I make maps and data legible—usually about cities, climate, and the way people move through both.

Every project starts with a question the existing maps cannot answer, and a dataset that has to be built by hand. I care about ground truth—nothing gets drawn until it has been checked against the world it claims to describe.

The finished piece should read at a glance and reward a second look. No decoration that is not doing work.
